1. Join for Free! You can join for free if you also become a member of one of our sponsoring member credit unions at the same time (see the list of participating credit unions below). Simply scroll down and complete the Membership Application below and submit it to us for processing. Be sure to select your preferred credit union. You’ll receive your membership number and membership certificate within one hour, or contact us at (800) 544-0414 for immediate membership assistance. Once you’re accepted as a member of your designated credit union, you'll also receive all of the membership benefits and services of that credit union including low interest rates on loans and other benefits!

2. New Members: For immediate membership, please click on the credit card payment option HERE. The lifetime cost of Membership is $12. Payments can be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). If you want to pay by check, payment should be made to: American Consumer Council, Post Office Box 503016, San Diego, CA 92150-3016 USA.

3. Current Credit Union Members: Any individual who is already a member of a participating credit union and wishes to join ACC or one of our 44 affiliated state consumer councils, your membership is also complimentary. Simply complete the membership application below and submit it to us for processing.

Warning: In cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the American Consumer Council and its state consumer council affiliates reserve the right to verify and validate all information contained in your membership application. Any individual who is suspected of providing false or misleading information for the purpose of defrauding ACC or one of its affiliated credit unions will be turned over to the FBI for investigation and possible prosecution under current federal criminal laws. Fraudulent acts are punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
